When are you open?
We are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am until 4 pm and on Saturday from 1-4 pm from February through December. We are closed for annual cleaning in the month of January.

Our address is 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney, MT 59270.

Is there an admission fee?
Yes, there is an admission fee. Adults-$3.00; Children-$1.00; and Members are FREE. For information about becoming a member, please click here.

What does admission include?
The admission fee gives you full access to both levels of the museum including all of the exhibits on display in the Center and Outer Galleries on the main level and the MonDak Pioneer Town Museum in the basement. There is no fee to browse our Gift Shop or make use of our Art and History libraries.

Is there more than one art exhibit at a time?
Most of the time. Generally there is one featured exhibit in our Center Gallery and one or more smaller shows on the walls of the Outer Gallery. Check out our calendar and Annual Events to see what shows we will be hosting next. If nothing is listed, there will be a display from our permanent art collection.

What facilities do you have to offer?
The MDHC houses the MonDak Pioneer Town, Lillian Anderson Jensen History Library, Genealogy Library, Charlotte Rees Gabisch Art Library, a permanent art collection, large regional photo archive, an ever-growing collection of Heritage Cards for genealogical research, a dinosaur and fossil collection, and public meeting rooms. Our facility may be perfect for your next special event, including weddings, receptions, meetings, luncheons, parties and more. How do I find out what your current exhibits are?

What other activities do you have?
Ethnic Christmas Celebration; School Tours; Museum Mondays; Heritage Day Parade; National Exhibits; Cultural presentations of art, poetry, literature and history from several sources including the Montana Endowment for the Humanities. Do you offer any other special services?
Yes. Other services include access to various local history and geneaology research materials, handicap accessibility, art classes for adults and children, narrated tours, copies of historical photographs and information on our permanent collections.

Where does the MonDak Heritage Center get its displays?
Donations, loans from local patrons and artists, and booked traveling shows.  If you are interested in exhibiting your artwork at the MonDak Heritage Center, check out our Artist Inquiries page for more information. The MonDak Historical & Art Society has non-profit status, and your gifts of money and/or property are tax deductible. Please see your accountant or tax advisor for more information.

How can I help?
Anyone can contribute gifts of any size which will support the work of the MonDak Heritage Center. You can also provide support in several other ways: by becoming a member, donating items or cash gifts, honoring or memorializing someone with a cash gift, contributing toward the purchase of equipment or materials, donate time as a volunteer, or contribute to the MonDak Heritage Center's Endowment Fund.
