Moms Rock!

Join us on Sunday May 11 at 2pm for a celebration of frontier mothers and the May Music at the MonDak concert featuring Prairie Junction. Prairie Junction plays blue grass and folk music and is made up of two musicians from the former Sagegrass Ramblers, one from Miles City and a versatile picker from Forsyth. During the concert you will be able to view exhibits and photographic displays honoring the efforts and achievements of mothers in the MonDak region since the pioneer days. The members of Prairie Junction are expert musicians, and our Mother's Day celebration promises to be a foot stomping good time.

Construction Complete

As of Friday, April 18, construction on the front entryway at the MonDak is nearly complete. The outer doors and automatic opening mechanism are fully operational and the new stairs and ramp are finished. We are currently awaiting the arrival of new glass for the inner doors, but as of now, you can use the front entrance to access the building. The MonDak Heritage Center has resumed its normal hours as of Monday, April 21, so please drop by to visit!

Wing Fling

On May 30, the MonDak Heritage Center will host its 3rd Annual Wing Fling Extravaganza. We have approached local artists and crafters to make bird houses and bird related items to decorate your house or yard and donate them to this fundraising auction. Doors open at 7pm for viewing and refreshments. The auction will start at 7:30pm and be directed by Dan Goss, auctioneer extraordinare. Dan’s sense of humor is worth coming out for even if you don't want to bid. We of course will have refreshments and beverages for your enjoyment. We will also be having a presentation by Ben Larson, Richland County Extension Agent, on bird related gardening tips to help you jump start your efforts to bring our feathered friends into your gardens and yards.
